Want vegan pizza?? Go to this place! They did not skimp on the cheese or toppings. But first, we started with the olive and jojo’s as appetizers. Then the Jaybird Chopped salad (minus the bacon, feta, and egg), then we each ordered a pizza - husband built his own and I had the Ace of Spades (sub vegan pepperoni and cheese). We went on a Sunday late afternoon, so there really wasn’t a crowd at all. Service was good and the food came out fast.

Let's start with atmosphere. Very modern design, nice music playing at an appropriate volume. The restaurant is very clean. We arrived for lunch and sat at the bar. Service: extremely attentive but gave us space. Perfect! Food: we ordered 2 sandwiches and jojos. The first sandwich was the turkey caprese. I loved it. The bread was soft and the flavors melded so well together. The smoked turkey was amazing. The other sandwich was the braised beef. It was perfect. The beef was easily shredded and flavored. I would highly recommend this spot. This is our 5th time eating here and the food and service do not disappoint.

The food was insanely good. Very surprised by the complex flavors offered & our toddler enjoyed tasting everything. The Weird Al Pastor pizza is my holy grail, African Bird Pepper sauce on wings was life changing, & crispy brussel sprouts had the perfect texture. Cannot wait to come back!

Jaybird Tavern was excellent. We had the pizza and it was delicious! Our server was wonderful and she did a fantastic job. Definitely enjoyed our cocktails and the vibe of the restaurant. Parking is located right beside the restaurant and directly across the street. Will be coming back here very soon! Great job Jaybird Tavern!!!

In town for s quick get away and was referred to this place... great place to hang out! We watched a football game, hadcdrinks,appetizers and wings. Wanted to try the pizza off the month, but we were too full. After packing up in the morning we decided to make a stop there at lunch time and take the pizza of the month in the car for lunch on the way back to Raleigh... we split an order of JoJo's while we were waiting for the pizza to be baked and we can't wait till we get back in town to see what they have up their sleeve for the next Pizza of the month
